My previous work experience includes working three years as a Professional School Counselor. This includes working at Proviso East High School and Giles Elementary School: Integrated Restorative Justice counseling to correct inappropriate behaviors at certain settings. Provided individual and group counseling for 5th -8th graders to address and alleviate social emotional barriers for optimal individual and group growth. Created and implemented behavioral intervention for students in need of them.
Supported and guided students with individual counseling to address mental health. Created support group for kids who were not involved in sports or clubs. The group as created to be a place of support and growth and for kids to have a sense of belonging. I safely taught the students healthy weightlifting techniques that were regulated to transfer negative energy and thoughts into. It was a group that created a safe and healthy coping mechanism for students to release their frustration and anger as well as talk about life issues and correlating it with training. This benefitted the students with less disciplinary referrals and a place of belonging to learn how to safely use weightlifting as an outlet to alleviate harmful behavior. I was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as Assistant Girls Track Coach. I enjoyed supporting my athletes to push past mental and physical barriers. I specialize in working with Adolescents, teenagers and young adults by engaging in empowerment, praise and motivation to help individual growth to manage and cope for optimal mental health

I love training in Muay Thai, boxing and weightlifting. I also enjoy superhero movies and comics. I genuinely enjoy cheat meals and being outdoors by water. My goal is to be able to engage in behavioral therapy by incorporating Muay Thai and weightlifting training along with therapy for optimal mental health growth.
